Independent Research is finally underway, with members in labs and assigned dates and deadlines.
Please make a point to speak with me, if you are serious about earning credits for research OR being in the next SISC team course. Please check dates and below information:
Integrative Science Course : offered at selection of one of three times weekly.

Thursday E block or after school (if selected from 3:15 to 3:55 in Room 7311 or lecture hall
Tuesday E block (from 11:17 to 12:13) in Room 7311 or lecture hall

This course will be a non-credit (point earning) course, given to those who have a serious interest in attending the 2009 SISC in Singapore. The top nine to have gathered the most points will be offered a team position first.

Selection will be strictly on points earned in the course and not regional, state or international science competition wins.

If interested come to the first meeting (Tuesday 9/25/07) in Room 7311. If absent that day, make sure you sign up with me for future days you plan to attend the course.

Background reports should be completed and projects selected by the end of September. 9-24-07 Please let me know if I can help to get the ball rolling. The problem, hypothesis and procedure are due to me by 10-2-07. Our school competition for placement in regional competition is Dec. 6, 2007.

Please find the manual I wrote for research on the homework hotline under "K_ResearchManual_revised", as well as on the left column under "Links", in case you did not receive this originally.
